Competitions

Our lab regards security competitions as an opportunity for students to gain practical research ideas and hands-on cyber skills in both attack and defense, and supports these activities as a lab. Through our student CTF team m1z0r3 and joint teams with members of neighboring labs, we take part every year in competitions such as MWS Cup (malware analysis), SECCON CTF, and the Information Crisis Management Contest, and we bring the insights gained there back into our research. Major results are listed below by fiscal year.
